Newbold Concrete Stairs
We started as experts in precast concrete, working on high-end residential projects, mostly concrete countertops and cast sinks for the local wealthy clientele in Austin. Over time we started getting inquiries for concrete stair treads from the commercial market, both from tech startups as well as schools. We found that by bringing the high-end mindset into commercial construction, we were able to impress clients and contractors, as well as exceed the standards that the architects and designers were expecting.

Our Team
Our team includes experienced installers, fabricators, and problem solvers. We’re led by John Newbold-Knipp. John has a BS in chemical engineering from Rutgers University and 25 years of experience in design and construction. 15 of those years were spent working in the decorative precast industry, including concrete stairs. When not creating, John enjoys travel, surfing, exercise, and mixing a mean tiki drink.
